Abstract
SUMMARY A brief overview is given of the JESSI applications Europroject 'Small and Medium Sized Industries Support' (SMI), project no. AE23, an original turn-key project. The goal and structure of the project are explained. The target group is the European SMI. In the 4-5 year project period, 25 000 of this group will have to be approached by the consortium. The project tasks are indicated. A practical example of some of them, contributed by a project partner, is given.
