Abstract
Introduction: Head and Neck Oncology referrals sent to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery units vary greatly, whether made by GPs or dentists. Some are simply skeletonised to a basic tick box referral, and some are descriptive of the lesion in its exact form. The aim of this project is to introduce a predictability factor of the words used in referrals with the outcome for the patient.
