Abstract

AbstractThe author, Professor, and Dean Emeritus at Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, writes about her long‐standing relationship with Frances Hesselbein. The article revolves around an interview in late 2016 between Bailey and Hesselbein for a special issue of the multidisciplinary journal Reflections: Narratives of Professional Helping. According to the author, the “issue focused on the relationship between the individual and organizations…” and it centers around Hesselbein's professional career, beginning with her leadership of the Girl Scouts of the USA in the mid‐1970s.
