Abstract

This study is concerned with learning organizations' multigenerational workforce and how gamification is essential for digital transformation and digital learning, once learning organizations understand how knowledge growth can affect the organization's long-term success and its culture and innovation. As an essential development and competitiveness, learning organizations are expanding to the digital learning in its culture, for employees develop their own interpersonal and soft skills, through collaborative work and better communication. The main aim of this study is to analyze through a literature review to understand how gamification is a potential problem solver for the multigenerational workforce in its digital learning and development. After a research background and literature review, the analysis shows that organizations with a multigenerational workforce have several benefits—while young employees share their digital skills, older employees share their experience and knowledge. Through gamification, employees increase their motivation, digital skills, and productivity.
