Abstract
The authors show that the positive muon spin depolarization should be controlled at low temperature by a magnon Raman scattering for a Heisenberg ferromagnet if the degree of symmetry at the muon site is not too high. The data recently reported for the intermetallic ferromagnet GdNi5 support their conclusion.
