Abstract

This chapter focuses on the popularization and development of high school education in poor areas. As a higher-level education category after the end of nine-year compulsory education, senior high school education is of great significance. At present, China’s senior high school education consists of two types: ordinary senior high school education and secondary vocational school education, which carry on the functions of conveying learning talents to higher education and high-quality skilled talents to vocational fields respectively. It can be said that receiving high school education means the possibility of obtaining more income and higher social status.
