The Polarization of Coronal Emission Lines. Hyder, Charles L. Abstract Resonance polarization theory is used to set upper limits on the degrees of polarization that would be expected from several coronal emission lines. Magnetic and collisional effects may modify the values obtained. These effects are discussed, and experimental tests are outlined.
