Abstract
This article draws together and extends insights from three earlier articles on theology, the arts and popular culture. It offers a worked example of how the content and procedure of theological exploration is directed and shaped when reception of the arts/culture is acknowledged as a place where theology must now be done. The whole enquiry is framed within the recognition that theology's purpose is to enable people to live with and for God.
