Abstract

PMR spectra of chlorobenzene dissolved at different concentrations in the nematic phase of 4- n-butyl-4′-methoxyazoxybenzene have been analyzed Line assignments have been checked with the help of the INDOR technique. The way in which this type of experiment has to be carried out in liquid crystal solution is described. Small geometric variations of chlorobenzene with respect to the orientational degree are reported.
