The planning of land and forest melioration activities in the Russian Federation in the process of land management and reclamation works on agricultural lands

Abstract

The article considers the necessary planning of land and forest melioration activities in the process of land management and reclamation works. By the example of Tula region, the dynamics of species and areas of reclamation protective forest plantations was analyzed for the period from 1975 to 2022 as well as their compliance with the planned indicators established in the land management schemes and the federal target programs. The calculations for the recommended areas of protective forest plantations have been made up to 2030 as well.
