Abstract

A beamline for light energies between 55 and 1500 eV is currently commissioned at DELTA, an university-operated synchrotron facility. Light from an undulator with 55 mm period length is used as a source for the PGM-beamline. Two under-vacuum interchangeable gratings allow a high photon flux and a high resolution mode of the beamline. Further, with a variable fix-focus constant, c ff , a user’s preferred monochromator operation can be chosen in order to accomplish the requirements for different experiments. The focal spot on the sample is 70 μ m × 30 μ m (hor. × vert.) for an exit slit size of 100 μ m.
