Abstract
The period of schooling in China is six years for primary school and six years for middle school (three years for junior middle and three years for senior middle). Children enter the educational system at the age of 18. They begin to study physics at the second year of junior middle school, at the age of 13, so that they have five years to study physics during their stay in school. The place of physics in all middle school courses in China has undergone some changes, long with the reformation of the educational structure. This change is described.
