Abstract

This article highlights the place of computer science in the processing of Master’s theses of students in the National Higher Institute of Popular Education and Sport (N.H.I.P.E.) of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD). In fact, the main objective of this research is to see the students’ level of appropriation of the computer tool in that Institute during the writing of their Master’s theses. To better tackle this topic, we have focused on a purely qualitative research methodology with documentary research, observation and interview as a technique. Finally, the results from the field show that computer science has a positive influence on the processing of students’ Master’s theses within the Institute even if there are malfunctions to be improved and corrected/
