Abstract

New branches of physics have emerged in the 20th century. A special and general theory of relativity, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, the physics of elementary particles, and quantum radiophysics have been created on the basis of concepts that are qualitatively different from the concepts of classical physics. The creation of the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics signifies a radical revision of the very fundamentals of physics.
