Abstract

The kinetics and spatial characteristics of the optical emission and absorption have been studied in the course of explosive decomposition of silver azide initiated by a pulsed electron beam. The emission and absorption observed after the induction period reflect the process of formation and expansion of the products of chemical decomposition of silver azide.
