Abstract

The photon interaction cross sections of human cortical bone tissue are computerized differently from the literature by taking into account the effects of molecular interference and smaller values of the scattering angles. The molecular form factors and incoherent scattering functions were also calculated to obtain molecular coherent and incoherent scattering cross sections, respectively. The results are tabulated and compared with references values in literature. It is observed that the theoretical results are in agreement with experimental data.
