Abstract

The total photoelectric cross section of ${\mathrm{H}}^{2}$ for an exponential potential is computed with the best available nuclear constants. The value obtained for Th C\ensuremath{'} $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-rays is 13.1 \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}28}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$.
