Abstract

We have performed calculations for the photodissociation of H 2S using surfaces constructed to test a model proposed by van Veen et al., in which the dissociation occurs via predissociated levels of the bound 1B 1 excited state. Total Franck-Condon factors for the photodissociation and partial Franck-Condon factors for the product vibrational distributions are presented.
