Abstract

The effect that oxygen dissolved at various pressures has on the photocatalytic oxidation of azo dyes on Fe2O3 nanoparticles has been studied. It is shown that the reaction rate of the photocatalytic oxidation of azo dyes increases by a factor of 2.1 in the presence of oxygen dissolved under pressure, which is explained by the formation of active oxygen-containing particles during oxygen reduction.
