Abstract

Abstract Quaternary ammonium salts related to choline with anti-adrenergic properties have been phosphorylated. The resulting betaines were used to investigate a possible means for improving the oral absorption of quaternary ammonium salts. One of these was converted to the α-glycerophosphate for similar study.
