Abstract

This paper considers the evolution of the development of a worldview in library-bibliographical and information-related research disciplines as part of communicative and computational information processes. It is proposed to consider a document as a form of institutionalized reliance on information and data as a form of information arrangement, followed by logical information processing. It is shown that a worldview is a diverse phenomenon that cannot be reduced to any specific form of information arrangement.
