Abstract
Abstract Optical birefringence measurements have been made on mixed crystals of dicalcium strontium/lead propionate and the phase diagram has been determined between 20 and 350 K. The strontium-rich end is particularly sensitive to Pb-doping. It is observed that the birefringence passes through a minimum at low temperature in each case.
