Abstract

secondary school which satisfies, the total growth needs of all of its pupils should provide not only for the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills, but also for the proper formation and nurture of a socially desirable pattern of living. Pupils encounter various types of problems during their school careers. Many of their experiences create tension-producing situations which may ultimately affect their mental health.
