Abstract
In order to develop a AMS system for heavy isotopes measurement at China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), a home-made 300 kV AMS system has been established. The measurement methods for 129I and 239Pu have been developed with the system. The transmission efficiency of 65 % for 129I and 25 % for Uranium have been obtained with this system. The 129I measurements with uncertainty of 2.5 % and sensitivity of 129I/127I = 2 × 10−14 are achieved. The uncertainty of 5 % and detection limitation of 0.5 fg are obtained for 239Pu measurements.
