Abstract
In this research, the sleeve antenna and the array sleeve antenna are designed to be applied in wireless communication, which both operate at 2.45 GHz. They can provide different gain, so as to be used in all kinds of environments. In this paper we give both the simulation and the measurement results of the two kinds of antennas. The measurement results show that the gain of sleeve antenna and the 1 ×2 array sleeve antenna is about 1.9dBi and 4.3dBi separately, and the efficiency is about 82% and 85% for the sleeve antenna and the array sleeved antenna.
