Abstract

A synchrotron radiation beam line has been constructed tangential to the PEP (Positron-Electron Project) storage ring. The beam line is illuminated by electrons circulating through a 26-period undulator, yielding highly collimated photons tunable from 12 to 24 keV. The spectral and angular properties of this radiation are described, and a brief description of the proposed experimental program is given.
