Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine and justify the pedagogical approaches to the creation of the modern choreography style in the process of choreography training of the students of the higher educational establishments in Ukraine.The research methodology is based on the problem solving approach, the choreographic, pedagogical, art research methods of analysis and generalizing and summarizing of the dance and pedagogical concepts as well as the contemporary dance training.The results of the study present the following pedagogical approaches: cognitive and interpreting, spacious, dynamic, affective, casual and inherited. The results demonstrated that in the light of the modernization of the national system of cultural and artistic education and the crucial necessity to modernize the contents and the disciplinary basis of the process of modern choreographers’ training, the application of the presented pedagogical approaches in the learning process (taking into account the cultural and historical achievements of the Ukrainian people) will both permit to nourish the students’ individual dance style and promote the national cultural product.The scientific novelty deals with the arrangement of the world experience of the individual choreographic style creation and the scientific analysis of the experimental process of the contemporary dance training. The practical significance. The pedagogical approaches can become a progressive methodology for generating innovative ideas and formation of the author’s dancing language of future choreographers.
