Abstract

The equilibrium distribution of magnetization through the thickness of films having simultaneously unidirectional and uniaxial anisotropy is calculated. It is shown that, with a magnetic field opposite to the unidirectional anisotropy, switching of films occurs gradually for small uniaxial anisotropy and suddenly for large anisotropy. It is shown that in such films there exists asymmetry of SWR peaks relative to zero along the field axis; this asymmetry decreases with increasing film thickness. With increasing magnetic field this asymmetry decreases for the SWR base peak and increases for the other peaks. The amplitude and width of the resonant peaks of SWR are calculated. Theoretical values are compared with experimental data.
