Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has re-signified numerous approaches to the social relationships established until then, especially those marked by gender, as women were greatly and differently impacted due to historically delineated specificities. This work focused on analyzing the consequences of the pandemic among women from the perspective of extracting a critical reflection of social markers, such as class and race/ethnicity, as predominant in women’s exclusion from the labor market and their difficult reallocation in the post-pandemic. This work is a cross-sectional and exploratory study, including a qualitative approach and with field research, realized through semi-structured interviews by carried out by phone calls to record the implications of the post-pandemic period for women. It was observed that the reabsorption of women by the labor market in the post-pandemic period is still a major challenge for public policies to combat gender inequality. The present study was approved by the Ethics and Research Committee of the University of Franca/UNIFRAN.
