Abstract

Palato-radicular grooves (PRGs) are developmental anomalies of maxillary incisors that are a site for plaque accumulation and periodontal infection, contributing to localized periodontitis. Here a case of PRG that was initially thought to be root fracture or cemento-dentinal tear is presented, along with a discussion of the importance of a systematic approach to diagnosis.
