Abstract
The crystal structure of XeOF 3 + SbF 6 - has been determined. The compound crystallized in the triclinic system with a=8.568 (2) A, b=9.760 (2) A, c=10.104 (2) A, α=109.68 (2) o , β=92.58 (2) o , γ=104.27 (2) o , V=763.4 A 3 , and D calc =3.829 g cm -3 for Z=4. The structure has been refined in the space group PI to a final conventional R factor of 0.045 for 1782 independent reflections with I≥2.5σ(I).
