Abstract
This paper provides systematic design procedures for output regulation of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems using an integral fuzzy controller. Instead of a conventional PDC controller, the integral fuzzy controller is adopted to minimize the steady-state error on the output of the given system. Sufficient conditions for the output regulation problem are derived in the sense of Lyapunov, and these are formulated in the format of linear matrix inequalities. Furthermore, the decay rate of the Lyapunov function is also considered in this paper so that one can adjust the output regulation response of the given system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed design procedures is demonstrated through numerical simulations on the output regulation of the Lorenz's chaotic system.
