The Organization of Bibliographic Services in the National Libraries of the Republics of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The article deals with the organization of bibliographic services of the republican national libraries . The results of monitoring library sites on the bibliographic work of various structural units are presented . The current state of the main directions of bibliographic activity is analyzed . Based on the results obtained , new directions were identified : expansion of the number of departments providing bibliographic services and compilation activities ; increase in the range of bibliographic services ; development of electronic local history .
