Abstract

Calibrator plays an important role in the shaping of the cooling process in the plastic profile production. In this paper, a simplified model with the specific length was used as the analysis example. The multi-objective optimisation for the water channel position of the calibrator model was carried out based on the modern intelligent algorithm. In order to realise the uniform distribution of the surface temperature of the profile, the position parameters and the diameter of the cooling water channel were taken as the design variables. The Kriging model was established on the basis of LHS, and the above variables were optimised based on NSGA-II. Finally, the optimised channel parameters were obtained. Compared with the initial scheme, the temperature of the profile surface was uniformly distribution. In addition, the effectiveness and applicability of the design method of the chilled water channel parameters of the calibrator based on NSGA-II were verified.
