Abstract
In a paper before this Institute <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∗</sup> the author referred to the investigations that were made in Europe, preliminary to the installation of the first electrically driven reversing rolling mill, and it is interesting to note that somewhat similar experiments and investigations were made in this country, independently, with the same object in view.
