Abstract

ABSTRACT By analyzing the operations reports of vertically integrated oil companies, this article considers the prospects for obtaining the data necessary to adequately assess the economic impact of subsoil management. The information provided by specialized databases is considered. Finally, the article evaluates the degree to which international extractive companies are willing to share their data.
