Abstract

Together with OPS 12, this paper provide a critical analysis of the case decided by the CEDAW Committee under the OP CEDAW to date. The papers examines the reasoning of the Committee in each of the cases and points to some lessons which can be drawn from the approach of the Committee as well as highlights some of concerns in this approach.
