Abstract
Ontologies play a key role in the Semantic Web. Thanks to them finding and processing information become more effective. In the article, on the example of quantum mechanics, possibilities of using ontologies connected with the different fields of science are discussed. In particular the ontology for quantum mechanics is presented.
