Abstract

The one-loop amplitude of the closed bosonic string with M (⩽ 26) external massless tensor particles is calculated in the oscillator formalism. The result is expressed in term of multilinear parts of exponentials of polarization tensors. The two-point function is obtained explicitly, and shown to be doubly periodic and modular invariant.
