Abstract
In an effort to emphasize the importance of wearing hard hats, Frank M. Graham of Western Paving Construction Company in Denver, Colorado has developed a Head‐Hardness Certification Program. He suggests performing penetration, absorption, heat and chemical resistance, electrical, and impact tests on the head of those who dislike wearing hard hats.
