Abstract

This descriptive account of The Official Bulletin of the United States includes an examination of the controversial committee that issued the Bulletin and of its provocative chairman, George Creel. Examined also are the functions that the Bulletin served and its close affiliation with the executive branch. Attention is also paid to the battle waged by the executive and legislative branches over the continued publication of The Official Bulletin under private auspices
