NIGERIA (EASTERN). Degema Prov., Bonny Distr., in the, swamp along the Shell Company line at Papashu fishing village, brackish water, fr. 25 Dec. 1963, Daramola in F.H.L 46932 (K):-tree to 20 ft. [6 m.] high, stem grey, fruits very pale green with red seeds; same locality, fl. 26 Nov. 1964, Daramola in F.H.L 55334 (A, B, BM, BR, FHI, G, K, LISC, P, WAG):tree 12 ft. [3-5 m.] high and about I ft. [o.3 m.] in girth, flowers yellow with 5 sepals and 7 petals, anthers yellow. ANGOLA. Zarie District, Sumba, near R. Congo, at sea-level, 2 Dec. 1921, Gossweiler 8592 (holotype, BM).
