Abstract
Hexadeca-7,10,13-trienoic acid, a lower homologue of linolenic acid, is found in the leaf lipids of a variety of angiosperm species. The acid is found to be concentrated in the monogalactosyl diglyceride and diglyceride fractions of the leaf lipids.
