Abstract
Results of spin-wave resonance experiments on single-crystal nickel films are reported that indicate the presence of quasi-localised modes. Such modes have complex propagation constants and can exhibit the characteristic feature of migration from within the body-mode region of the resonance spectrum to the high-field side of that region as the value of the complex surface pinning parameter is changed.
