Abstract

This paper seeks to present a numerical model of a multiple supersonic turbulent jet based upon a statistical model (SM) used previously for a single jet. The paper demonstrates that SM applied to the calculation of single jets corresponds closely to experimental data. SM can also be applied to multiple jets if cognisance is taken of bending of the jet axes. Due to a lack of experimental data for multiple jets of different gas composition only numerical results and their analysis are presented. The investigation concerns mean parameter flow field and does not consider parameter fluctuations.
