Abstract

The authors wish to add a correction to their original Microreview.1 During 1988–1994 RajanBabu and Nugent observed that Cp2TiCl is a novel single-electron-transfer reagent capable of generating a radical from an epoxide, and they jointly developed the free-radical chemistry of this reagent for various reactions including cyclization reactions, intermolecular additions, reductions and deoxygenations of epoxides. The authors apologize for omitting the name of RajanBabu in the title and in the text of their Microreview. Accordingly, the title of this Microreview should read as follows: The Nugent–RajanBabu Reagent: A Formidable Tool in Contemporary Radical and Organometallic Chemistry The name “Nugent reagent” appears numerous times in the article, and it should also read as “Nugent–RajanBabu reagent”.
