Abstract

The nuclear many-body problem is discussed in terms of the boundary- condition model (BCM). For simplification of the problem, the BCM is formulated in terms of a potential (or pseudopotential). The two-body scattering problem is discussed in order to illustrate the use of this pseudopotential. Methods are introduced to handle the center-of-mass momentum dependence of the nuclear matter K-matrix for interactions in general and interactions in /sup 1/S/sub 0/ states only. (R.E.U.)
