Abstract

This article aims to analyze the historical-normative path of the construction of the right to basic education for people with disabilities in Brazil. Based on the normative parameters presented and provided for in Brazilian legislation, it was possible to measure the international determinations adopted in the country and the adversities encountered in implementing the through public policies that reduce social vulnerabilities. A bibliographical and documentary research was presented on the main normative documents that redefined the right to education.
