Abstract
We report results of synchrotron experiments on the antiferromagnet MnF2 intended to test the angular and polarization dependences of the non-resonant magnetic X-ray scattering cross section. We present data for the conventional energy range 5–12 keV, but also report on the first observation of magnetic diffraction of very hard X-rays (80 keV).
