Abstract

The non-local field theory of the quark model is developed by performing the second quantization and postulating interactions among mesic states. As an application, the high energy π-π scattering amplitude is calculated in the lowest order perturbation approximation and is found to exhibit definitely the desirable Regge behaviour. Further, the electromagnetic interaction of hadrons is formulated in a phenomenological way using the generalized current-field identity, and the electromagnetic form factor of pion is examined.
